About the event
Join Friends of Parks Queensland for a potoroo talk & camera collecting expedition on Tuesday the 13th of May from 8am!
The day will kick-off with a 30 minute talk from FoPQ’s senior ecologist, Paul Revie, on the ecology and threats facing the long-nosed potoroo. Then, the group will head off on a walk through the scribbly gum woodlands to collect cameras that have been set for the long-nosed potoroos. The walk is expected to take approximately 4 hours through a mix of flat and steep terrain. A moderate level of physical fitness is required.
What to bring:
Long pants, enclosed shoes, long-sleeved shirt
Hat and sunscreen
Plenty of water & a packed lunch
