About the event
Join us for a hands-on morning helping rock-wallabies at Mount Archer
Join Wildlife Queensland, Friends of Parks Queensland and Friends of D’Aguilar National Park for a community weeding day at Mount Archer in D’Aguilar National Park. Together, we will remove lantana and help restore important foraging habitat for threatened brush-tailed rock-wallabies.
No experience is needed. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help native wildlife thrive.
Why this work matters
Lantana reduces access to native plants that brush-tailed rock-wallabies rely on for food and shelter. By removing weeds, we can improve habitat quality and support the long-term survival of this threatened species.
You will also hear more about Wildlife Queensland’s brush-tailed rock-wallaby conservation work on the day.
